About Me

Hi there! I'm Sarah. I am an Instructional Designer who utilizes my strengths in helping people learn content and retain knowledge. I create interesting and targeted learning solutions to improve employee performance, close learning gaps, and drive organizational growth.

I excel at establishing learning objectives, breaking apart content into easily digested pieces, and creating eLearning solutions that stick. I believe that real world examples and application are essential for learners to thrive. I use my knowledge of how people learn best and my ability to effectively analyze performance gaps to create exciting and powerful eLearning experiences. I enjoy designing eLearning solutions that incorporate real world scenarios. I work well with teams and I believe the best outcomes happen when communication and collaboration happen regularly. I thrive on feedback and I know it is essential for reaching the goal of successful and dynamic training. 

My design process includes learner analysis and needs analysis to prepare for the design phase. Input from stakeholders helps me to define the effective design of a course. Development happens with storyboards and other documentation that is produced during the design phase. I welcome feedback throughout the process and incorporate it to to continually improve the learning module. 

In my free time you can find me cheering from the sidelines for my favorite athletes (my sons), reading a good thriller, walking our dog, or planning our next family getaway!
